House Rules

The arrival time is from 16:00 and departure time is 9:30 a.m.  Please let us know roughly what time you expect to arrive. If the cottage is ready earlier and we have your mobile number we will let you know.  If you find yourselves in the area earlier than planned please message to see if the cottage is ready otherwise you can find some lovely venues for refreshment in our coastal village of Llangrannog 2 miles way or New Quay 6 miles.  

Please find below useful information and a couple of housekeeping points to help you have the best stay possible.  If you have any queries, please contact us.

  • You are welcome to park close to the cottages for unloading/loading, please then park in either your dedicated parking areas or the large car park at other times.  Please do not park on the old farmyard in front of the cottages except for loading/unloading nor behind the farmhouse.
  • Use the drive dedicated to guests, it is better maintained and easier access to the car park.
  • It is nonsmoking property (including e-cigarettes and vapes).
  • The primary heating in the living area is your wood burning stove, we provide the logs and kindling for your stay.  You are able to boost the electric heating at anytime.
  • We are unable to accommodate children under the age of 16.  We can accommodate babes in arms under the age of 3 in some properties, this includes anyone visiting during your stay.  
  • Do not exceed the stated occupancy (includes all ages except babies under 3 years old).  
  • Our insurance prohibits the use of hot tubs by anyone other than those staying in the cottages.  Please read the information regarding your hot tub (located in the kitchen area) before using it. No glass near the hot tub and please take care on wet surfaces.
  • Dogs must be kept on leads unless in your garden or in the exercise paddock and not left alone in the property.
  • Visitors are welcome but please let us know in advance (adults only and essential in case of emergencies including fire).  Night time guests must not exceed the cottage capacity.
  • Follow the guidance regarding recycling bins are located in the car park – it is a legal requirement in Wales
  • Your Wi-fi code is located on a sign just inside your front door
  • Be mindful of other guests
  • Quiet times between 22:00 and 9:00 (hot tubs may be enjoyed at any time, just bear in mind noise levels) – no parties or events catering for people outside the registered guests.
  • Fire risks including candles, firepits, fireworks and lanterns are not permitted at the property.   BBQs are not provided but you are welcome to bring your own to use within your garden areas.
  • Drone and unmanned vehicles are not to be used on or from our site without permission.
  • You are not permitted to use domestic power sockets to charge an electric or hybrid vehicle, including electric bikes and scooters.  Arrangements maybe made to do so, please seek our advice and permission.

Vacating instructions, please:

• Remove all food items

• Empty the fridge/freezer

• Empty bins (recycling centre in car park, instructions are on the wall), a legal requirement in Wales

• If needed, switch dishwasher on

• Leave a note about anything faulty or damage

• Check you have everything

• Close/lock all windows and doors

• Return keys to the key safe
