We are passionate about providing luxury holidays in Wales, hoping that the tranquillity of Dolgoy and its location will provide our guests with wonderful memories to share for many years. Whether you want a romantic weekend break, relaxing in the hot tub with cosy nights by the log fire, or a base for exploring the wider delights of Cardigan Bay. Dolgoy Cottages is the place to be.  As the crow flies, we are a mile from the coast and by road two miles from both the coastal village of Llangrannog and the cove of Cwmtydu. Dolgoy and our luxury coastal lodges are nestled in a small dip behind the cliffs but as you stroll around the land or look across from its gateway you can see the sea, either towards Cwmtydu or across to Aberporth and Cardigan Island. There are many routes from the farm to the Welsh coastal path from which dolphins, seals and coastal wildlife can be seen as well as spectacular views, stunning scenery, and seas from deep aqua to steely greys depending upon the weather. Whether you want a romantic break, relaxing in the hot tub with cosy nights by the log fire, or a base for exploring the wider delights of Cardigan Bay, Dolgoy Cottages is the place to be.

Our 5* luxury cottages are well equipped, with king size beds (or super king/twins), wood burner, all ensuite, Jacuzzi hot tub, dishwasher, washing machine,well equipped kitchen, luxury Ekornes Stressless leather reclining sofas and fibre to property wi-fi. A welcome pack awaits you with tempting local produce and when available, free range eggs from our girls in the hen house.  Our dog friendly accommodation offers private patio gardens, ample parking, dedicated dog exercising paddock and the grounds of Dolgoy to find a quiet spot.

Location
The cottages are within a mile of the coast of Cardigan Bay (nearest beach is 2 miles by car, or you can walk to the coast along the many pretty lanes and pathways). The seaside village of Llangrannog awaits you, nestled in the narrow valley where the river Hawen makes its rapid way into Cardigan Bay. Here there are quaint streets, beachfront café’s, cosy pubs and sandy beaches. Dolgoy is also very close by is the village of Cwmtydu, with its tranquil cove once a haven for smugglers. In late summer you may see Atlantic Grey seals with their pups in amongst the rocks and dolphins frequently seen from the shores around New Quay. There are the beautiful harbour town of Aberaeron and Aberystwyth, Devils Bridge waterfalls and Bwlch Nant Y Arian red kite centre to the north along a scenic coastal road.  Inland we have castles, gardens, The National Botanic Gardens, market towns and National trust properties and to the south, many coastal coves (Mwnt with its picturesque church, Poppet with is long sandy beach), market towns and the beautiful Preselli Hills.  There is an abundance of places to explore, a wealth of local produce and a warm welcome. Whatever the weather, there is something to do from walking to exploring or simply relaxing at Dolgoy.  There are sunsets and sunrises to capture or simply dark starry skies to watch in wonder.
