Myself, my partner and two friends (who bought their two small dogs with them) spent the week at ponycob for a well needed break from work and to have a laugh.The entire cottage was absolutely spotless, the kitchen was stocked with every tool, ammenity and utensil you could need AND more. The bedrooms themselves had insanely comfortable beds, the bathrooms were clean with perfect water pressure, and we have never seen such a clean hot tub!The local area and farm shops provided everything we could need, with day trips to new quay, cardigan, llangrannog, poppit sands and more. Evenings were spent lounging in the hot tub, a pint at the local pub Y Bryn a’r Bragdy, a home cooked meal and board games.The owners were kind, welcoming and attentive, with Chris stopping by upon arrival and departure to see how we had gotten on.A huge thankyou to Chris and Linda for a wonderful stay and their beautiful home!! (And adorable cats!) We will have to make an effort to return!

Really homely, kitchen full of everything you need, high quality kitchen ware. Nice welcoming touches, tea, biscuits, coffee pods, eggs. Bedrooms lovely, comfy beds, hotel standard bedding, loved the personal touch on cushions. Great shower! Normal or rain option.. will miss that. Lovely hot tub, well looked after during our stay. We stayed in PonyCob for New Year with friends and our 2 dogs. Linda was very helpful and responsive. PonyCob was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated for Christmas as well as having fresh flowers and a little hamper of local goodies which were very welcome. The hottub was a great addition and again spotlessly clean and private. The dogs loved the secure dog exercising field. We had a really great time - thank you xx

We had the pleasure of staying in this cottage for 10 days, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable holidays we’ve had. The location is ideal if you’re looking to truly unwind and recharge, especially if you’re coming from a busy city.
The cottage itself is extremely well equipped – everything has been carefully thought through to make guests feel comfortable and at home. The hot tub was definitely the highlight, adding that extra touch of luxury. We also really appreciated the thoughtful welcome pack from the hosts.
We travelled with our dog, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. There were endless opportunities for long walks, including a securely fenced dog field, which was fantastic. Lovely beaches were also within walking distance, as well as just a short 20-minute drive away.
All in all, we couldn’t recommend this beautiful and hospitable cottage highly enough. If you’re after a quiet, cosy getaway where you can truly treat yourself, this is the perfect choice.

We stayed for four nights in Ponycob. It’s a beautiful and tranquil location. We enjoyed gazing up at the sky from the pristine hot tub. The cottage is immaculate and very comfortable. The interior is spacious and luxurious. The outdoor spaces are so peaceful and surrounded by nature. Chris and Linda are so friendly and helpful, especially when we locked ourselves out! Chris and Linda were so helpful in accommodating us and our Labrador Buddy at such short notice. The setting is exquisite, the cottage was gorgeous, had everything we could possibly need. We loved coming back from exploring the nearby coastline (we kept being drawn back to Newquay) to a lovely warm (and always clean) hot-tub. We could then snuggle up in front of the wood-burner (no charge for logs) and then get to sleep in the biggest, most comfortable bed I ever had the fortune to use. Last but not least, I feel I should mention Chris, Linda and the animals, a lovely welcome from you all, we will miss Lou-Lou, Hazel and Tom they are all a credit to you both - mustn't forget to mention Nuts, the resident Guinea Fowl who has made Dolgoy his.

What a stunning location, very private and peaceful. The accommodation was great and everything you need is here. Linda was super responsive to all my questions. Highly recommended.

Stunning location, incredibly peaceful, fantastic base for coastal walking! Spotlessly clean - although dog friendly you’d never know a dog had been there! Whilst the hosts leave you to it, we bumped in to Chris a couple of times and throughly enjoyed chatting with him. The amenities offered are spot on, particularly the hot tub and the enclosed dog paddock! A wonderful place to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary! We will be back.

everything is about 20mins away and plenty of coast walks from the cottage. Lovely woodburner with plenty of wood provided.

Fantastic 5 star cottages, adults only. Our happy place. Hosts are helpful, with great attention to detail. Loads to do in the surrounding area. Cottages are very dog friendly, with a dedicated dog field .

Had the best sleep The cottage is equipped with everything you could possibly need. I have loved the wood burner and hot tub and have had the best sleep whilst here.

Wonderful Easter Break What a wonderful Easter break at Dolgoy. Lovely welcome on arrival and cottage very well equipped. Daily hot tub dips plus log burner for chilly evenings. Huge thanks xx
