Unmissable Summer Events Around Cardigan Bay
Cardigan County Show – 1st August
Attend the annual agricultural show to see major livestock classes, including cattle, sheep, pigs and horses, as well as vintage machinery, live music and so much more to see and enjoy.
Cardigan River and Food Festival – 15th August
With hundreds of food and drinks stalls, this is a great way to sample a selection of delicious local produce from independent Welsh producers. You can also enjoy a variety of exciting activities and entertainment, including live music, cooking demonstrations and river-based activities and boat tours on the River Teifi.
Aberaeron Carnival – 31st August
This prestigious carnival takes place on the bank holiday weekend in the picturesque coastal town of Aberaeron. The carnival features a procession with floats, community activities, and lots of music. Each year has specific theme colours; this year’s are yellow and green.
Aberaeron Beer and Cider Festival – 8th August
Held annually at Aberaeron Yacht Club, this day-long event welcomes you to sample a variety of Welsh beverages, tasty food, and dance the night away to classics played by DJs. You’ll find a great selection of real ales, ciders and perries to try as you enjoy the live music and exciting atmosphere.
New Quay Music Festival – 31st – 2nd August
Enjoy three nights of live entertainment and coastal magic in New Quay. This event brings people together in a celebration of music and arts, featuring acts of all genres, including fantastic tributes as well as great food and drink vendors.
